IT System Administrator

Technical Department

Role Summary:

To handle system operations and software applications and provide IT support to Company’s departments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • - Handle system operations involving Internet and Client/Server applications.
  • - Handle the installation and upgrade of new applications.
  • - Implement and support IT solutions for corporate clients.
  • - Provide IT support to all Company’s departments.
  • - Troubleshoot and solve hardware, software and network problems.
  • - Document and submit various reports pertaining to system configuration.

Education and Experience:

  • - BA/BS in CCE, Computer Information Systems or Computer Science from a reputable university.
  • - 1 to 3 years of high level hands-on system support.
  • - Highly skilled in Microsoft technologies, windows servers and related applications.
  • - Familiar with UNIX/LINUX (Red Hat) and its commands/utilities at the user level.
  • - Solid conceptual understanding of IP networking and WiFi technology.
  • - Strong knowledge in systems and network security.
  • - Experience in an ISP environment is an asset.
  • - Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • - Self-motivated and team oriented approach to work.
