How to get the best signal strength?

Make sure you try to position the machine in all directions (North of the house, east west and south) Also make sure you place it as close as possible to an opening in the house like a window etc, you can always follow the 5 orange LEDs to know which location gets more signal.

Power led on modem is red, is that normal?

The power led is red by default, so it's normal that way.

How does the Refill Cycle works?

The Account is activated for 30 days after using the first refill card, you can add as many cards as you like which will stay pending until the 30 days cycle ends. The next card is activated automatically. If the quota is fully used the account becomes inactive until you recharge another card. if you already have a standby card in your account , It will remain active with unlimited quota but with lower speed until the end of the cycle. if you would like to switch to a new cycle with high speed again go to connect.sodetel.net.lb For further information or assistance you can contact the technical support on 1278

Does Connect requires a fixed telephone landline to work?

No it doesn’t. Connect is a wireless service that doesn't require a landline number.

Does the Connect modem has an ethernet cable input ?

Yes, the main CPE modem has 2 ports, but the portable device "Biscuit" doesn’t have any.

How to change the Wi-Fi password, can it be changed from Sodetel side?

You can access the modem from the web browser by entering in the address bar the IP 192.168.1.1 when the page opens enter the username (admin) and password (admin). When you access the modem do no change the user ID and password because your modem will not be functional anymore. Click on WLAN button and you can change the WIFI password by changing the network key. You can then click save and close the page. for further infromation or assitance you can contact the tehnnical support on 1278.

You can go to connect.sodetel.net.lb to check your quota and refill your account.

Does Connect has unlimited free night traffic?

Yes, from 12:00 am till 6:00 am you have unlimited night traffic.
