Sodetel has recently introduced a new technical solution designed to offer its customers a flexible range of downlink space segments capacities packaged with high quality IP backbone connectivity through GlobeCast.
As part of France Telecom, GlobeCast benefits from the telecommunications group's successful evolution into a leading international operator by combining the resources of France Telecom's diverse broadcast and broadcast-related entities.
The downlink (IP/DVB) will be provided from France Telecom backbone via the satellite Arabsat 2B, 30.5º E and will have a CIR Committed Information Rate and a CBR Committed Burstable Rate.
The client have to install on his own charge the appropriate antenna with all necessary accessories (LNB, receiver,) and will configure the receiver according to the specifications provided by Sodetel (PID, E/N).
