Sodetel provides Dial-up connections through two types of prepaid cards :
56K Digital Connection     &     33.6K Regular Connection
These two cards allow you to get connected & create your own Internet account without any need for a CD.

Through the two types of prepaid cards, you can select either the .unlimited connection. account for 30 days as of activation date or .pay & stay. account (8 hours of connection, valid for one year as of activation date).

To change (or to refill) your account from the Regular Connection ($12) to the Digital Connection ($18) you have to create a new account using the new Digital prepaid card (new username with your old e-mail address) For more informations, please contact our sales department or the nearest dealer.

At any time and place, you can check your e-mail through Sodetels home via the URL: Webmail .

SODETEL prepaid cards are available in authorized points of sale listed on : points of sale .

1- How to Set up the connection icon

In "My Computer", double click the "Dial Networking" icon. Click the "Make New Connection". This will take you through a wizard where you'll be asked for the name of connection, the telephone number (intenet access line number), and the country code.

After finishing the wizard, right click the icon just created, go to "Properties", "Server Type", only TCP/IP must be checked.

Go to TCP/IP settings, set the DNS :
Primary DNS     : 89.108.128.44
Secondary DNS : 89.108.129.77
Click ok.

Create a shortcut for your connection on the desktop.

Dial up Access Numbers

DIGITAL 56K: 4 digits number 1654 OR use the 6 digits 01.428255

The 4 digits regular phone line is 1617

OR

Use the 6 digits regular numbers:
01.611422 - 01.328452
01.871610 - 09.635818 - 06.205380

ISDN Phone Number are: 01.619016 - 4 digits: 1615

2- To create an account:

connect to Sodetel (without Proxy)
Username : guest (small Letters)
Password  : password (small Letters)

Go To :    http://register.sodetel.net.lb/NewUser
and follow the instructions

3- To Refill Your Account

Connect to Sodetel
Username : Your own Username
Password  : Your own Password

Go To : http://refill.sodetel.net.lb

ATTENTION ATTENTION

At any time, you can refill your unlimited monthly account before the expiry date. Don't be afraid, you will not lose days.

Let's suppose, your expiry date is on May,19. If you refill on May,10, the new " 30 days " will be added to the expiry date " May 19 " and not to the date of refill " May 10 ".

Please Pay Attention that after the expiry date, your account will be inactive and the best way for you is to open a new account with the same mailbox.
